Solutions Engineer

Summary

Requirements

• About 3+ years of engineering experience, ideally in a customer facing role
• Familiarity with modern UI technologies (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js)
• Experience in a client-facing role with a strong customer service orientation
• Excellent programming skills, with experience in languages such as Python or JavaScript
• Demonstrated ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to develop solutions
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly and independently
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Responsibilities

• Lead Technical Onboarding: Guide clients through the technical aspects of onboarding our Search product, ensuring a smooth and efficient process
• Create Custom Code: Write and maintain custom code to integrate our solutions with client systems, tailored to meet specific client needs
• Leverage UI Expertise: Utilize your knowledge of front-end technologies to design and implement reliable solutions. You’ll have an opportunity to lead UI development on our Solutions Engineering team
• Research Solutions: Quickly research and develop innovative solutions to address client challenges and improve our product offerings
• Support Clients: Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to clients during and after the onboarding process
• Continually Learn: Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends, continuously enhancing your skills and knowledge
• Collaborate: Work closely with our product, engineering, and sales teams to ensure client success and drive product improvements

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms AWS, Azure, and GCP is ideal
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Ideally, experience with search technologies (Solr, Elasticsearch, etc.) and/or familiarity with Web crawling and data extraction
