Summary

The job is for a Solutions Engineer at Standard Bots, responsible for designing, installing, and supporting innovative robotic solutions. The role requires 3 days onsite near Glen Cove, NY or remote on the US-West Coast. The candidate should have a strong technical background, be excited by new domains and challenges, excel in communication, be impact driven, proactive, and able to work in dynamic environments.

Requirements

Strong technical background, including 2+ years working in complex environments or relevant educational experience in automation including basic electrical, programming and mechanical

Responsibilities

• Work with sales and our customers to design solutions around the Standard Bots RO1
• Go into the field to install, program and verify Standard Bots solutions
• Support our customers as they find new and innovative ways to use Standard Bot’s RO1
• Develop supporting materials such as sample code, white papers and application notes
• Assist in-house engineering with the design and testing of an ever-expanding list of features and integrations
• Develop marketing collateral to assist with growing the Standard Bot’s customer base
• Travel up to 50% domestically Monday to Friday to assist our customers

Preferred Qualifications

Background in robotics (not required but beneficial)
