Summary
Join Garner's growing team as a Strategic Accounts Director, responsible for retaining and upselling major employer clients. You will collaborate with account managers to ensure client satisfaction and achieve results, acting as a trusted strategic partner on plan design and cost management. This remote role involves up to 25% travel and requires deep health plan design knowledge and 7+ years of experience in employee benefits sales or account management. Requirements
- Deep health plan design and benefits knowledge, including experience advising large and Enterprise employer clients on benefits strategy and cost performance
- 7+ years of experience in a commercially-oriented account management or sales role in the employee benefits space
- Proven results of achieving retention and upsell targets year over year
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Problem solver in ambiguous situations
- Strong communicator who can effectively articulate a vision

Responsibilities
- Own the process to retain and upsell some of Garnerโs largest employer clients
- Collaborate with account managers to ensure Garnerโs important clients have an excellent experience
- Become our clientโs trusted strategic partner on plan design, bending cost trends and driving plan performance
- Work with clients to resolve strategic problems and ensure Garner is delivering value to the employerโs health plan and members
- Establish and manage some of the most important strategic broker and client relationships
- Monitor and anticipate the strategic needs of your book of business
- Monitor overall client health and execute strategic plans to proactively address key account risks
- Collaborate with product, data, and technology teams to deliver customized reports and presentations demonstrating the value and ROI of Garner
- Drive improved net revenue retention and other KPIs for your book of business
