Requirements

  • Possess a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Have 8+ years of experience
  • Be comfortable with change and adapt to changing priorities with little notice
  • Have experience managing large, diverse, and strategic partner relationships
  • Be adept at solving ambiguous problems and building for scale
  • Be highly entrepreneurial and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to thrive under minimal guidance
  • Communicate with clarity and purpose in both written and verbal communication

Responsibilities

  • Leverage your vast partnerships experience to build a strategic plan that highlights the key industries and companies we will target, lists the incentives & product value props we will use to differentiate ourselves from the competition, and illustrates how we will grow the channel over time
  • Own the relationship end-to-end, beginning with initial partnership scoping, negotiation, signing, launch, and ongoing partner management
  • Build and maintain senior-level relationships with strategic partners to drive joint revenue opportunities
  • Develop and execute a unique strategy for each partner, including business planning, co-sell motions, and enablement initiatives
  • Work closely with product, marketing, and other relevant teams to align on strategic initiatives that drive deeper technical integrations and differentiated value propositions
  • Identify and assess emerging strategic partners that align with Mercury's business goals and technology vision
  • Actively track industry trends and competitive dynamics to inform partnership strategies and priorities
  • Be a product expert, well-versed in all of the potential ways companies can integrate and partner with Mercury, including API integrations
  • Prioritize customer feedback and pain points and work cross-functionally with product and engineering to prioritize Partner & client feedback thus improving Mercury’s feature set and creating more delightful user experiences for Partners and clients

Preferred Qualifications
