Requirements
- BA degree, or equivalent experience
- 8+ years in Human Resources
- 5+ years in recruitment business; IT related experience is a plus
- Solid knowledge of Japan HR policies
- Ability to competently converse in English
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A self-starter who is resilient and confident in their approach
Responsibilities
- Fill roles with creativity, persistence, and strong phone skills
- Identify successful candidates and match them with the right position
- Find and close ideal candidates using postings, LinkedIn, networking, resume databases, and external sourcing
- Work with hiring managers to create job descriptions, discuss candidate feedback, and adjust the search accordingly
- Manage vendor relationships and make decisions about their use in conjunction with management
- Recruit for Japan and the extensive APAC region
- Fill both IT professional service and go-to-market roles
- Work as a trusted partner to Human Resources and Hiring Managers, knowing when and what questions to ask and when to take initiative
- Create reports to track progress and work in rapidly growing companies
- Maintain detailed knowledge of applicable local labor laws and regulatory requirements
- Perform other HR operation and administration duties (15% of day-to-day work)
