Summary

Join Consensys, a leading blockchain and web3 software company, as a Product Marketing Manager for Linea, their zkEVM Layer-2 blockchain. You will be responsible for crafting compelling narratives, developing and executing go-to-market strategies, creating marketing collateral, conducting competitive analysis, and engaging with developers. This role requires 6+ years of experience in product marketing or a related field, ideally within the crypto, cloud, or infrastructure sectors. A strong understanding of Ethereum fundamentals and L2 scaling solutions is essential. The position offers the opportunity to work on a rapidly growing platform and contribute to the advancement of the web3 ecosystem. The role is remote (excluding France and Australia).

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in product marketing, technical marketing, or solutions engineering—ideally in crypto, cloud, or infrastructure products—with a deep understanding of the motivations of technical audiences
  • A proven track record of your ability to understand technical personas and build adoption and engagement of new and existing product lines
  • Strong grasp of Ethereum fundamentals, L2 scaling solutions (Optimistic and/or ZK rollups), and developer tooling
  • Experience crafting compelling positioning, messaging and thought leadership content
  • Ability to simplify complex technical concepts into clear, engaging messages
  • Proven success launching and growing technical products or protocols
  • Outstanding organizational skills to define and manage multiple projects with tight deadlines effectively within a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience working cross-functionally in fast-paced, remote environments

Responsibilities

  • Product Positioning & Messaging: Build a deep understanding of our technical personas in order to effectively onboard, excite, and show value to them within the realm of decentralized networks. Craft compelling, technically accurate narratives for our rollup technology, developer tooling, and ecosystem features
  • Go-to-Market Leadership: Develop and execute GTM strategies for new product releases, protocol upgrades, and developer-facing tools
  • Content Creation: Partner with Product Management and Engineering to understand product roadmap and upcoming releases to drive and implement release marketing efforts across users, partners and internal teams. Produce high-impact marketing collateral such as product one-pagers, webpages, solution briefs, technical blog posts, videos, and slide decks
  • Competitive Intelligence: Analyze the Layer 2 and broader Ethereum ecosystem to inform positioning, pricing, and messaging
  • Developer Engagement: Collaborate with DevRel and ecosystem teams to communicate product value to developers through docs, workshops, and community events
  • Sales & BD Enablement: Equip internal teams and partners with the resources and training needed to articulate our value proposition

Preferred Qualifications

  • Active contributor or participant in Ethereum or other Web3 ecosystems
  • Prior experience working at a Layer 1 or Layer 2 protocol, crypto wallet, or DeFi project
  • Familiarity with tools like Dune, Etherscan, Hardhat, Foundry, or other developer stacks
  • Technical writing or open-source contributions
