Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in talent acquisition, with 2+ years of experience in a high-growth startup
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience managing corporate (in house) recruiters directly
- Proven history of successful delivery of high volume hiring, as well as senior-level hires
- Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to form successful relationships with leaders across the organization while also educating and influencing on hiring best practices and strategies
- Demonstrated ability to manage assigned roles and ad hoc projects simultaneously with the agility to shift priorities when necessary
- Significant entrepreneurial drive, ability to create order from chaos, and willingness to roll up sleeves to directly solve challenging problems where required
- Systems thinking and the ability to imagine and drive the creation of new structures or processes required for business success
- Proficiency with various talent acquisition software - applicant tracking systems (preferably Greenhouse, our in-house ATS), LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, and Gem
Responsibilities
- Work in a player-coach capacity, owning and driving the recruitment of targeted hire requisitions, internal requisitions, and any other requisition that will fill gaps in recruiter capacity as needed
- Provide mentorship and guidance to your dedicated TA team on anything from hiring manager education and training to day-to-day workflow optimization
- Partner with the Sr. Director of Talent Acquisition and all necessary cross-functional stakeholders to drive the enhancement and evolution of recruiting programs and strategic initiatives, including, but not limited to: increasing quality of hire, interviewer training and development, recruiter training and development, and DEI talent acquisition strategies
- Aid in the successful execution of the organization’s hiring goals, along with tracking of all roles, their status, target hiring dates, and any changes made to the plan
- Provide weekly and sometimes ad hoc reporting to leaders and stakeholders
- Model the People team’s culture by demonstrating a highly collaborative spirit, showing a strong willingness to jump in and help wherever needed, and prioritizing teamwork and mutual support
- Demonstrate business maturity and maintain composure in high-stress situations
- Handle sensitive information, such as compensation and/or performance data, with a high degree of integrity and confidentiality
- Take on tasks that may not be explicitly listed in the job description, showcasing flexibility and dedication to the team’s success
- Make decisions based on data and business needs, ensuring rational and effective outcomes
- Running full cycle recruitment on 3 roles to reach offers accepted per quarter where most critically needed to achieve hiring goals as well as balance managerial duties
- Partner with CxO leaders and manage direct team members effectively to accomplish 100% of the hiring plan by EOY
