Technical Writer

Summary

Join Suvoda as a Technical Writer and collaborate with product managers, marketing, and engineers to create and maintain top-tier documentation. Your responsibilities will include publishing content to online forums and knowledge bases, authoring user guides, integration guides, API developer guides, release notes, and in-platform documentation. You will also gather customer feedback to enhance usability and ensure consistency across documentation. This role requires strong written and verbal communication skills, cross-departmental collaboration experience, and proficiency in managing the documentation creation process. A positive attitude and ability to handle multiple projects are essential. Three to five years of technical writing experience for a SaaS product line is required.

Requirements

• Strong written and verbal communications and experience working with content in multiple mediums
• Experience working cross-departmentally to communicate the nuts and bolts of a product
• Strong experience owning an end-to-end documentation creation process
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects in a fast-paced, changing environment
• A positive attitude, willing to jump in and tackle new challenges
• 3-5 years of technical writing experience for a SAAS product line required

Responsibilities

• Work with product managers, product marketing, and engineers to produce and maintain world-class documentation, including publishing to online user forums and product knowledge bases, User Guides, Integration Guides, API Developer Guides, Release Notes, and In platform documentation (tooltips, welcome instructions, etc.)
• Learn product concepts, and communicate the information in a way that is engaging and understood by users
• Gather customer feedback on documentation to improve usability
• Act as an editor to ensure consistency in training documentation across [redacted]
• Monitor metrics on the usage of training materials as well as direct customer feedback to prioritize future training investments

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with online publishing tools preferred, example: Confluence/JIRA, Git & Github, HTML, JavaScript, Python, Madcap, RoboHelp
