Requirements
- 7-10 years of relevant experience in sales leadership, business development, or related fields, ideally in political tech, SaaS, or data-driven solutions
- Proven track record of exceeding revenue targets and managing complex, high-value deals
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to navigate complex organizations and influence key stakeholders
- Experience managing a sales team and fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and results
- Passionate about leveraging technology and data to empower Democratic candidates, increase civic participation, and advance progressive values
Responsibilities
- Manage a team of four to start and have an opportunity to build the team as business goals are met and exceeded
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve an annual revenue target of low seven figures first year, ramping up significantly from there
- Engage with strategic clients, including gubernatorial and Senate campaigns, national party committees, and major PACs, to secure six figure deals
- Lead outreach and relationship-building efforts with decision-makers in high-profile political campaigns and organizations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and technical support, to deliver customized solutions and impactful presentations
- Manage and mentor sales reps, ensuring alignment with revenue goals and a high-performing team culture
- Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), including conversion rates and pipeline progression
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with CRM systems like HubSpot
- Experience working with state parties, PACs, or national party committees
