Summary
Join Pearl, a leading EdTech company revolutionizing academic recovery tutoring, as our new Account Executive. You will be instrumental in expanding our presence in the K-12 market across the Southern United States. Your mission is to establish Pearl's Tutoring Management System as the preferred solution for school districts in Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, Florida, and Texas. This role demands building strong relationships, understanding district needs, and presenting tailored solutions to enhance student outcomes. You will be responsible for prospecting, account management, market analysis, networking, sales forecasting, and contract negotiations. Success in this role requires a proven track record in EdTech sales and exceptional communication skills.
Requirements
- 5+ years in EdTech sales, with a solid track record and strong network
- Skilled in selling complex solutions and understanding the EdTech landscape
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Data-driven and customer-focused mindset
- Proficient with Salesforce, Google Workspace, and Canva
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. and able to travel as needed
Responsibilities
- Prospecting: Build a pipeline by proactively identifying and engaging potential K-12 school districts in the Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, Florida, and Texas market space
- Education Ambassador: Understand the needs and challenges of diverse markets, positioning our platform as the leading solution for tutoring management and data aggregation
- Account Management : Cultivate and manage relationships with key decision-makers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and engagement
- Market Analysis: Keep a pulse on the market to strategically pivot and seize opportunities
- Networking: Boost our brand at industry events and create strategic partnerships
- Sales Forecasting: Leverage Salesforce for tracking and forecasting new opportunities
- Negotiations: Lead contract negotiations to ensure profitable and sustainable agreements
- Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, customer success, and product teams to align strategies and feedback from the field
- Goals: Meet and exceed annual sales goals
