Remote Account Manager

Summary

Astrea Bioseparations is seeking a sales professional to grow and maintain business within the specified US Territory by directly selling consumables and services to key customers and executing the regional business plan. The role involves developing customer relationships, planning and executing customer interactions, researching focused markets, supporting marketing initiatives, and accurately updating the Customer Relationship Management tool.

Requirements

• Educated to degree level in a Life Sciences or related discipline
• Proven track record of building strong and effective relationships with customers at all levels
• Experience and working knowledge of the Biopharmaceutical sector and markets specifically within the downstream market

Responsibilities

• Direct sales of Astrea Bioseparations consumables and services to key customers
• Execute the business plan for the region and deliver agreed growth targets
• Plan and execute customer interactions, including business development meetings, prompt follow-up, seminars and presentations, customer training, attendance at industry conferences and exhibitions

Preferred Qualifications

• Excellent influencing and negotiation skills
• Highly organized with an ability to manage own workload
• Demonstrable leadership and management skills, including team management (role may develop to require direct management of a sales team)
• Seeks continuous improvement
• Ability to develop/deliver profitable sales & operating budgets
