Requirements
- Have 6+ years of accounting experience, including 1-2 years of successfully leading and developing teams
- Have a Bachelorβs degree in Accounting or other relevant fields
- Have a CPA with Big 4 or large accounting firm experience
- Have worked in high growth environments
- Be an excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills
Responsibilities
- Lead month-end close by preparing and reviewing journal entries, bank reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliations, etc
- Oversee accounts payable to ensure corporate cards and vendor bills are entered accurately and paid in a timely manner
- Manage automation and integration of our expense system with Netsuite
- Conduct technical accounting analyses and policy setting under US GAAP
- Build and mentor a high-performing team
- Champion financial accuracy and transparency through audit requests and support
- Shape our financial future by developing and implementing innovative process improvements
- Partner with teams across Headway to solve complex business challenges and drive strategic initiatives with ad-hoc accounting projects
