Summary

The job description is for a Business Development Representative (BDR) at Finite State, a fast-growing series-B company in the IoT/OT cybersecurity space. The BDR will work closely with the sales and marketing team to generate leads and convert them into opportunities.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of successful experience in a BDR, Customer Support or Customer Success role
  • Previous experience in cyber security is required

Responsibilities

  • Develop a firm understanding of Finite State’s Total Addressable Market, buyer personas and Ideal Customer Profile
  • Understand our core messages and differentiation vs competitive solutions with an eye toward what will resonate with Finite State prospects
  • Generate a robust sales pipeline through lead follow-up and targeted outreach
  • Track activity and sales results in Salesforce and report on defined KPIs
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams and articulate market and prospect feedback
  • Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual targets
  • Collaborate closely with other team members to ensure alignment and integration of sales and channel strategies, projects, Marketing programs and messaging for successful implementation and execution
  • Participate in industry events and conferences
  • Develop expertise in Finite State’s product suite
