Summary
Join Wrike's Commercial team as a Business Development Representative (BDR) and play a crucial role in supporting marketing efforts, identifying new prospects, and driving sales conversions. You will conduct thorough prospect research, personalize outreach, and qualify leads to improve conversion rates. Collaborate with SDRs, sales executives, and marketing to refine messaging and strategies. This role offers excellent professional growth opportunities within a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Responsibilities
- By supporting marketing efforts by following up on inbound leads and inquiries
- Identifying new prospects across the business of existing customers
- By understanding our buyer personas and the needs/βpainsβ of your market
- By conducting research on the prospect and their organisation and leverage thoughtful personalisation in your outreach across email, phone and LinkedIn
- By persuading prospects to have a call or take a meeting with a Wrike Account Executive
- By qualifying prospects to help improve conversion rates from Discovery Call to Opportunity
- By routing qualified opportunities to the appropriate Account Executives for further development and closure
- By using tools such as Salesloft
- By working closely with other SDRs, Senior Sales Executives, and Marketing to improve and perfect our messaging
- Performing research on competitors, consumer behavior, market trends, product developments and lead acquisition methods
- Analyzing customer personas and target audience demographics to generate leads
- Compiling lists of potential leads to contact with information
- Making cold calls to connect with prospective customers or clients
- Developing and implementing email campaigns to attract new leads
- Collaborating with sales teams to identify and convert prospective customers
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years experience in a Sales Development or similar role in a B2B business
- Positive and energetic phone skills, excellent listening skills, strong writing skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Demonstrated success of reaching monthly and quarterly targets
- Experience with CRM and opportunity management systems, preferably Salesforce
- Strong work ethic and a βCan Doβ attitude
