Responsibilities

  • Support marketing efforts by following up on inbound leads and inquiries
  • Identify new prospects across the business of existing customers
  • Understand our buyer personas and the needs/β€œpains” of your market
  • Conduct research on the prospect and their organisation and leverage thoughtful personalisation in your outreach across email, phone and LinkedIn
  • Persuade prospects to have a call or take a meeting with a Wrike Account Executive
  • Qualify prospects to help improve conversion rates from Discovery Call to Opportunity
  • Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate Account Executives for further development and closure
  • Use tools such as Salesloft
  • Work closely with other SDRs, Senior Sales Executives, and Marketing to improve and perfect our messaging
  • Perform research on competitors, consumer behavior, market trends, product developments and lead acquisition methods
  • Analyze customer personas and target audience demographics to generate leads
  • Compile lists of potential leads to contact with information
  • Make cold calls to connect with prospective customers or clients
  • Develop and implement email campaigns to attract new leads
  • Collaborate with sales teams to identify and convert prospective customers

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ years experience in a Sales Development or similar role in a B2B business
  • Positive and energetic phone skills, excellent listening skills, strong writing skills
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Demonstrated success of reaching monthly and quarterly targets
  • Experience with CRM and opportunity management systems, preferably Salesforce
  • Strong work ethic and a β€˜Can Do’ attitude
