Join Gambling.com Group as a SEO Analyst in the fast-paced online sports betting and online gambling industry. The ideal candidate will analyze the SEO landscape, implement SEO content, and drive results through increasing traffic and improving brand visibility.
Requirements
- 2+ years SEO experience and can demonstrate use cases and execution
- Understanding of the SEO industry and evolving landscape and function principles of search engines
- Proven track record of SEO content creation for scale with an editorial team
- Ability to drive results through increasing traffic, improving brand, and site visibility through key analysis of research, competitive opportunities and execution
- Strong data driven thinker who can problem solve and tie data to core decision making and growth of SEO traffic
- Good understanding of conversion funnel and customer acquisition from search intent to conversion; including how to optimize the funnel for growth
- Experience using SEO tools such as (Google Search Console, Google Trends, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, and more)
- Familiarity with Google Analytics, Looker, and other data tools
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data manipulation for results
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS
- Has strong communication skills and the ability to prioritize
- Is proactive and a self-starter but can also work cross-functionally across multiple teams
- Weekend, off-hours and/or working a staggered schedule likely required
Responsibilities
- Analyze the SEO landscape and determine where our biggest content opportunities exist
- Implementing SEO content through CMS system and identifying streamline ways to improve
- Pushing forward on up-to-date SEO best practices, algorithm shifts and industry to provide critical direction on content and website plan
- Keeping a close eye on competitive content and SEO tactics to help break through new areas of opportunity
- Being proactive in recommendations and execution on content SEO optimizations to drive results including (content, UX, linking)
- Consistently tracking and reporting SEO performance. Ability to go beyond surface level into deeper analysis and rigor of key drivers of performance
- Building and executing an internal link building strategy to distribute SEO flow and build authority
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience working for (or within) a gambling company
- Experience writing articles, communicating in person with an English-speaking audience
- Has existing media relationships and experience working with content and SEO teams. Ideally has prior experience working within a newsroom setting
- Someone who is coachable and willing to learn
