Summary

IZEA is seeking a dynamic and results-driven leader to spearhead their operations in China as the Country Manager. The individual will lead a team, develop hiring strategies, build relationships with key brands and agencies, and strategically plan and execute sales activities. Reporting to the General Manager of Emerging Markets, the Country Manager will provide guidance and mentorship to ensure team success.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of proven success in leadership, with a track record of achieving and exceeding strategic objectives within the media, marketing or influencer industry, preferably within the Chinese cross-border e-commerce, App/Gaming industry
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities, with experience managing teams remotely
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team, with a focus on driving performance and fostering a collaborative and inclusive culture
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong understanding of MarTech/AdTech sales tactics, workflows, and best practices

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team providing day-to-day leadership, guidance, and productive change management to drive business activities to reach IZEA's goals
  • Offer mentorship and empower the team to excel in serving clients
  • Develop and implement an effective hiring strategy to attract top talent
  • Develop and nurture relationships with key Chinese brands and agencies, serving as the primary point of contact for business partnerships and strategic initiatives
  • Strategically plan and execute sales activities to achieve company objectives
  • Network proactively within the Chinese outbound field, attending events and meet-ups to foster industry connections and identify new opportunities
  • Work closely with internal teams to deliver comprehensive solutions that drive client success
  • Provide ongoing customer support, ensuring client satisfaction and addressing any concerns or challenges in a timely manner
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and market dynamics to inform business strategies and maintain a competitive edge
