Summary

Join Hive, a company dedicated to connecting event marketers with their fans, as their Director of Marketing. Lead and scale a high-performing demand generation engine driving revenue and growth across various channels. This hands-on leadership role requires experimentation, accountability, and building a fast-moving marketing team leveraging AI. You will lead the marketing team, manage a weighted revenue pipeline, and drive a roadmap of experiments. Reporting to the CEO, you will bring Hive's brand and value proposition to life. The role involves owning and growing the pipeline, executing marketing campaigns, driving experimentation, and managing the team. You will also partner cross-functionally and scale with AI.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in B2B marketing , with a strong focus on demand generation or growth roles at SaaS startups
  • Multi-time marketing leader who has built and scaled a demand engine from the ground up
  • Fluent in pipeline metrics CPL, CAC, conversion rate, revenue impact and comfortable setting and hitting aggressive growth goals
  • Technical operator : You’re comfortable inside HubSpot, Salesforce, and tools like Clay, Zoominfo, and Unify. You know how to self-serve and ship
  • Passion for experimentation and velocity : You know testing is the fastest way to learn, and you have the frameworks to prove it. You don’t need a perfect plan to move, you need signals and accountability
  • You’re a player-coach : Hands always close to the keyboard, but with the leadership skills to build and scale a high-performing team
  • Thoughtful perspective on how your team should be using AI to move faster , work smarter, and stay focused on what matters

Responsibilities

  • Own and grow the pipeline : You’ll be responsible for driving a qualified, weighted revenue pipeline to sales, using campaigns that generate high-quality MQLs
  • Execute marketing campaigns : Build and optimize full-lifecycle campaigns across paid ads, email, and events, focusing on learning fast, measuring everything, and iterating
  • Drive experimentation : Build a clear roadmap of demand gen experiments to test hypotheses quickly, track outcomes rigorously, and evolve our GTM engine
  • Be revenue-obsessed : Analyze campaign performance through CAC: LTV, CPL, and conversion rates to inform strategy and inform next bets
  • Manage & grow the team : Build a healthy, high-performing environment grounded in clear expectations, regular feedback, and strong performance management. Foster a culture of accountability, growth, and recognition, where people understand their impact and how they’re progressing
  • Partner cross-functionally : Work with RevOps and Sales to identify high-potential ICP accounts and bring them into the funnel with personalized, account-based plays
  • Scale with AI : Drive how our marketing team leverages AI across content, campaign execution, data analysis, and reporting to operate with speed and precision

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with the live events or entertainment industry
  • Experience in other revenue roles - whether you started in sales, CX or rev-ops prior to marketing
  • You’re highly analytical , curious, and metrics-driven
  • You’re a direct and clear communicator , both internally and externally
  • You love turning ambiguity into clarity and know how to unblock yourself and others
  • You’re energized by working in a small, agile team and thrive when you have full ownership of your roadmap from strategy to execution
