Join Wallarm as Director of Product Marketing and lead the development and execution of product marketing strategies for API security solutions. You will own collateral, content strategy, positioning, product launches, and market differentiation. Drive thought leadership, collaborate with marketing on campaigns, and enable sales and customer success teams. Collaborate cross-functionally to shape the strategic narrative and ensure Wallarmโs continued success. This role requires a forward-thinking leader with deep product marketing expertise and the ability to lead cross-functionally, influence stakeholders, and deliver measurable results. You will champion Wallarmโs product marketing initiatives and set the standard for communication and value delivery to cybersecurity buyers. The ideal candidate will have extensive product marketing experience, especially in a leadership role, and deep expertise in cybersecurity markets.
Requirements
- Extensive product marketing experience, especially in a leadership role
- Deep expertise in cybersecurity markets, including AppSec, WAAP, and API Security
- Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into compelling marketing narratives
- Demonstrated success in leading go-to-market strategies and driving measurable outcomes
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and manage high-performing teams
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, tailored for technical and executive audiences
- A strategic mindset with a hands-on, results-driven approach to execution
- Willingness to travel up to 25%
Responsibilities
- Develop and Execute Strategic Product Marketing Plans
- Own Wallarmโs product positioning, messaging, and differentiation across market segments
- Lead the creation and implementation of comprehensive go-to-market strategies for new products, features, and updates
- Shape the companyโs thought leadership and storytelling to align with market trends and customer needs
- Drive Content and Campaign Excellence
- Oversee the creation of high-quality marketing assets, including datasheets, whitepapers, blog posts, and customer success stories
- Partner with demand generation and sales teams to develop impactful campaigns that resonate with key personas
- Ensure product launches are executed successfully, with all supporting materials delivered on time and aligned to strategy
- Enable and Empower the Sales Team
- Develop robust sales enablement materials, including competitive analyses, playbooks, and training sessions
- Collaborate with sales leadership to ensure teams are equipped to effectively position and sell Wallarmโs solutions
- Deliver presentations and updates to internal teams to ensure alignment across the organization
- Engage with Customers and Shape the Market
- Serve as a key voice in customer and prospect conversations to gather insights and validate positioning
- Build relationships with key customers to develop testimonials, case studies, and peer review content
- Advocate for customer engagement through targeted outreach, newsletters, and events
