Summary

Join Paddle as Head of Growth and lead the scaling of our product-led growth (PLG) engine. You will own the customer journey, from acquisition to activation and expansion, building growth loops and driving revenue from our self-serve platform. This role involves leading a cross-functional team, implementing AI-powered experimentation, and optimizing onboarding, conversion, and expansion. You will collaborate with various teams to ensure seamless integration with our sales-led engine. The position requires significant experience in B2B SaaS growth, PLG funnels, and data analysis. You will be accountable for key PLG revenue KPIs. Requirements

  • 7+ years in growth, product, or marketing roles within B2B SaaS, with significant ownership of PLG or freemium funnels
  • Deep experience in growth loop design, full-funnel optimisation and product monetisation
  • Strong background in experimentation, ideally with a high testing velocity culture
  • Fluency in data tools, metrics and experience building out analytics capabilities
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional squads and drive commercial outcomes through the product
  • Hands-on exposure to leveraging AI/ML for growth acceleration, such as dynamic onboarding, predictive scoring, and real-time segmentation

Responsibilities

  • PLG Growth Strategy: Define the roadmap to drive acquisition, activation, and expansion within our self-serve funnel
  • Growth Loops: Build and scale product-led growth loops, leveraging in-product usage, usage-based triggers, and referral mechanics to compound momentum
  • AI-Driven Optimisation: Leverage AI to run smarter experiments, personalise onboarding, identify expansion signals, and score user intent in real-time
  • Onboarding & Activation: Improve customer time-to-value and key activation metrics across segments, working cross-functionally to unblock friction in early journeys
  • Expansion: Optimise packaging and expansion flows. Collaborate with Product and RevOps to align product experience with revenue opportunities
  • Experimentation Infrastructure: Build a high-velocity test-and-learn engine, with the tooling, data pipelines, and tracking needed to test rapidly and scale efficiently
  • PLG Revenue Accountability: Own KPIs including sign-ups, activation rate, PQLs, self-serve conversion, and NRR for PLG customers
  • Cross-Functional Partnership: Operate across Product, Marketing, Engineering, and Data to deliver unified customer journeys that convert and expand
