Summary

Join Spendesk's growing marketing team as a Growth Marketing Manager and lead the development of a specialist growth function. You will report to the VP of Marketing and work closely with the wider GTM team to support Spendesk's ambitious growth plans. Responsibilities include performance marketing optimization, website management and development, A/B testing, product marketing, nurture campaign design and execution, data and analytics, coaching and mentoring, and identifying strategic partnerships. The ideal candidate has 7+ years of experience leading growth and product marketing teams and possesses advanced knowledge of the martech ecosystem. You will be responsible for increasing customer spend, achieving quarter-over-quarter revenue increases, maintaining CAC within target thresholds, and driving lead quality. Requirements

  • Advanced knowledge of martech ecosystem
  • Demonstrated expertise in marketing automation, CRM systems, AI technologies and workflows as well as data analytics. Ability to integrate and leverage these tools to drive growth and efficiency
  • Bold leader
  • Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and driving strategic growth initiatives. Models calculated risk taking, driving speed and velocity within their teams. Has the ability to inspire and align teams around a common vision
  • Analytical
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make informed decisions to optimise marketing strategies and drive business growth
  • Strong communicator
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively. Strong collaborator with experience working across departments and with external partners
  • 7+ years of experience leading growth and product marketing teams

Responsibilities

  • Continuously optimise existing paid channels and strive towards a diversified channel mix
  • Implement a structured approach to testing and learning with a strong understanding of unit economics to maximise ROI and growth
  • Oversee website performance and develop a comprehensive roadmap
  • Build and lead a dedicated team to enhance website capabilities and user experience, aligning with growth objectives
  • Own and develop the A/B testing roadmap
  • Adhere to conversion rate optimisation (CRO) best practices and champion a culture of testing and data-driven decision-making across the Go-To-Market (GTM) organisation
  • Lead the product marketing function, driving GTM campaigns, product adoption initiatives, and supporting the product-led growth (PLG) strategy
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance product positioning and market presence
  • Design and execute nurture campaigns across target markets
  • Implement both automated and ad-hoc strategies to improve our funnel conversion metrics
  • Build and identify the ideal growth reporting stack and backend flows
  • Ensure all marketing activities have clear tracking and measurement systems in place
  • Support the marketing department in leveraging data analytics for strategic decision-making
  • Provide coaching and mentorship to the growth team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development
  • Support team members in achieving their professional growth goals and contribute to building a high-performing team
  • Identify and develop strategic partnerships that align with business growth objectives
  • Leverage partnerships to expand market reach and enhance product offerings
  • Increase customer spend on the Spendesk platform through integrated product campaigns and product-led growth (PLG) motions
  • Achieve quarter-over-quarter increases in inbound revenue across key markets
  • Maintain customer acquisition cost (CAC) within target thresholds
  • Drive increasing lead quality within our SMB and Mid-Market Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs)
