Summary
Join Education Perfect, an EdTech platform, as a Head of Marketing for a 12-month fixed-term contract. Lead and mentor marketing and SDR teams, developing and executing comprehensive strategies across multiple channels. Align marketing with broader business goals, manage budgets, and optimize spending for maximum results. Drive marketing vision, implement ABM strategies, and ensure consistent communication of goals and metrics. Continuously evaluate performance, oversee the marketing mix, and drive the team to achieve key business metrics. Elevate Education Perfect's visibility in the EdTech sector through PR and influencer strategies. This role is based in New Zealand and offers remote and flexible work arrangements.
Requirements
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams
- Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business goals into actionable marketing plans and initiatives
- In-depth knowledge of marketing channels and the ability to operate at 30,000 foot strategy view as well as to provide direction on tactical execution
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and insights to drive decision-making and optimise marketing performance
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey marketing strategies and results to stakeholders at all levels
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and initiatives simultaneously and deliver results within deadlines
- Creative mindset with a passion for innovation and staying ahead of marketing trends
- Proven track record of successfully driving marketing initiatives that contribute to business growth and revenue generation
Responsibilities
- Build, mentor and scale a high-performing marketing and SDR team
- Work closely with Product, Product Marketing, Sales and Customer Success to align marketing strategy with broader business goals
- Foster a culture of innovation, data-driven decision-making and customer obsession
- Develop and manage the revenue marketing and SDR budget, allocating resources effectively and optimising spend to maximise results
- Partner with the revenue organisation to ensure marketing efforts directly support revenue growth, meeting pipeline coverage and revenue targets
- Work closely with Product Marketing to ensure the marketing function and operational plans are closely aligned with GTM plans
- Drive the marketing vision in line with business strategy and implement ABM strategies to engage high-value accounts
- Drive clear and constant communication of goals and success metrics to the organisation to ensure consistency and accountability with end-to-end reporting and analytics
- Continuously evaluate pipe-to-spend and the performance and cost of acquisition, adjusting demand tactics and strategy accordingly
- Oversee the entire marketing mix and ensure operational marketing is aligned to meet targets
- Drive the team to achieve key business metrics including MQLs, sales-accepted opportunities, pipeline coverage and closed business
- Serve as subject matter authority on marketing funnel and SDR revenue metrics
- Forecast, measure, analyse and report on the impact of demand creation activities on sales pipeline and bookings
- Elevate the EP's visibility and reputation in the EdTech sector, leading PR and influencer strategies to expand reach and explore new geographic and vertical expansion opportunities
