Summary

Veracross is seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Sales to lead their EMEA Region sales team. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in sales leadership within the EdTech or SaaS industries and be responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market presence, and promoting growth across product offerings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree (BA)
  • Minimum of 7 years of sales experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within the EdTech or SaaS industry
  • Demonstrates proven experience leading successful sales teams having carried quota greater than $10M SaaS ARR
  • Strong understanding of the educational technology market and trends
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team to achieve excellence
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet business objectives

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and expand customer base
  • Monitor sales performance metrics, KPIs (Key Performance Indicators), and key trends to track progress and identify areas for improvement
  • Prepare regular sales reports and presentations for senior management, providing insights and recommendations for strategic decision-making
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships with educational institutions and stakeholders
  • Partner with internal business partners to identify and pursue new market opportunities
  • Lead and mentor a global sales team, setting objectives and key performance indicators to monitor progress
  • Collaborate with the product development team to ensure offerings meet the evolving needs of the client base
  • Provide detailed sales forecasting and analysis to inform business decisions
