You will manage employee files, ensure legal compliance, streamline processes, and address employee inquiries. The position requires strong HR, benefits, and operational expertise, along with excellent communication and organizational skills. One day a week in the office is required. Requirements

  • BS Degree (or 4 additional years of experience)
  • Minimum four (4) years of position related experience
  • Proven experience in HR, including benefits administration and employee relations
  • Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with employees at all levels
  • Proficiency in HR management systems (HRIS) and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
  • Experience planning, organizing, and managing projects/work activities to meet deliverables on schedule and on budget
  • Expert-level experience in creating information, presentations and communications using Microsoft (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google (Docs, Sheets, Slides) tools
  • Experience supporting an agile enterprise with a focus on a shared and collaborative work environment
  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, presentation, etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Maintain employee personnel files, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality of employee data.ย Bamboo HR
  • Ensure adherence to federal and state employment laws, including I-9 verification, FMLA, and ADA compliance
  • Monitor and update HR processes to reflect regulatory changes
  • Maintain accurate records for compliance audits including HUBZone
  • Address employee concerns and questions related to HR policies and procedures
  • Assist with employee performance management processes, including performance reviews
  • Manage employee time and attendance records, including leave requests and tracking
  • Assist with payroll and employee reimbursement tasks
  • Generate reports on key HR metrics, such as employee turnover, absenteeism, and workforce demographics
  • Analyze HR data to identify trends and recommend improvements to HR practices
  • Coordinate and complete administrative and on-boarding tasks (Just Works, E-Verify, Finance and IT coordination, etc.)
  • Lead initiatives to streamline processes, reduce costs, enhance productivity, and improve quality across departments
  • Work closely with various departments including finance, IT, HR, and BD to ensure alignment and smooth operations
  • Identify opportunities for process automation, implement lean methodologies, and drive continuous improvement across the organization
  • Identify potential operational risks, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
  • Maintain Corporate Centralized communication systems (phones)
  • Mail handling and disposition
  • Facility management โ€“ room reservations, security system, etc
  • Regulatory Filings (maintain Compliance, complete documentation and assist in filing as appropriate)
  • Federal Government compliance (Small business, HUBZone)
  • ISO support team member
  • Identifies to Leadership any shortfalls
  • Assist with resume formatting and re-writing
  • Support to Proposal and Contract start-up
  • Manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, flexible spending accounts, and other employee benefits
  • Process benefit enrollments, changes, and terminations, ensuring compliance with deadlines and regulations.ย Assure Vendors are paid
  • Answer employee questions regarding benefits coverage and eligibility
  • Conduct open enrollment meetings and provide benefit information to employees

Preferred Qualifications

  • Human Resources (i.e. SHRM, CEBS, ACA)
  • Project Management, Contract Management (CPCM, CFCM)
  • SAFe or other Agile Certification
