Summary
Join Rittal LLC as the Industrial Vertical Market Manager - Food & Beverage and drive business growth through cold calling, pipelining, and closing deals within the food and beverage sector. Collaborate with various teams to coordinate projects and meet targets. Execute and manage large-scale programs, assess customer needs, and provide comprehensive product solutions. Maintain regular communication with management through reports and analyses, monitor market trends, and identify marketing opportunities. Develop contacts within key accounts to boost Rittal brand demand and contribute to the annual business plan. This role requires significant travel and strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Requirements
- Obtain a Bachelor’s degree
- Have equivalent sales experience (10+years)
- Possess Food and Beverage experience
- Be able to travel up to 50%
- Have working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Be proficient and detail oriented with CRM
- Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written
- Demonstrate exceptional time management, attention to detail, and follow-up skills
- Be high energy, initiative-taking, and goal oriented
Responsibilities
- Educate yourself on key initiatives/drivers of the Vertical and the cause/impact to the organization’s strategies and goals
- Comply with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures
- Work with VMM to establish and gain consensus on project goals, objectives, and deliverables
- Assess customer product needs and partner with Rittal’s field sales team to provide full scope of product solutions
- Coordinate across regions for multi-jurisdictional accounts
- Keep management informed by submitting monthly activity-results reports and territory analyses
- Help to monitor competitive publications by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, and accounts
- Attend networking events and tradeshows
- Assist in the development of annual business plan and coordinate its implementation
- Keep management apprised of market trends and sales opportunities
- Identify marketing opportunities within vertical for Rittal
- Develop contacts within designated focus accounts to drive Rittal brand demand within business
- Be responsible for KPI metrics of ecosystem accounts and opportunities (CV’s and ops) and driving the right habits with RSM’s where necessary
- Take strategy and leadership/direction from VMM
- Perform other duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
- Have a degree in a technical field such as engineering, business Management or Business Administration
- Have Business Development experience in electrical/automation
