Summary
Join OLIVER, a global leader in bespoke in-house agencies, as a Management Accountant based remotely in South Africa. You will be part of a Finance Team managing 18 EMEA markets, gaining international experience and developing diverse skills. This role involves preparing monthly management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, cashflows, and forecasts, supporting local accountants with compliance, and business partnering. You will also conduct KPI reporting and analysis, drive process improvements, and support the group team with reporting and ad-hoc requests. The ideal candidate is part or fully qualified (CIMA/ACA/ACCA) with financial/management accounting experience and strong Excel skills.

Responsibilities
- Form a small portfolio of markets within EMEA
- Prepare Monthly Management Accounts (P&L, balance sheet, client reporting, detailed variance analysis to budget, forecast and prior month)
- Prepare Monthly Balance Sheet Reconciliations
- Prepare Weekly Cashflows for reporting into Treasury
- Prepare Weekly Flash Forecasts
- Prepare Annual Budget & Quarterly Forecasts
- Support our local accountants with compliance (Statutory Accounts, Tax Returns, VAT Returns etc)
- Provide support in business partnering for the relevant market. It could involve liaising with shareholders, account teams, finance teams and other departments within group or subsidiaries. Areas to support will include reporting, group policy, implementation, revenue recognition, intercompany, process improvement, etc
- KPI reporting and analysis on a market and client level β this includes reviewing and explaining movements in EBITDA, revenue, client growth, market challenges etc
- Help develop and drive continuous improvement, standardisation of processes, automation, and support implementation of initiatives across EMEA
- Support the group team with reporting, ad-hoc requests, inter company and required group schedules
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with international markets is desirable but not essential
- Knowledge of Accounting Systems (Netsuite, Xero, Workday Adaptive Planning experience is desirable)
- Knowledge of Job Costing is desirable
