Summary

Join Truework's Operations team as a Part-Time Operations Specialist (Outreach) and contribute to revolutionizing employment and income verifications. This remote, US-based role involves 25-30 hours per week, Monday-Friday, within flexible shift times. You will manage inbound and outbound communication with HR and Payroll contacts, ensuring timely and accurate completion of verification requests. The position requires strong communication, multitasking, problem-solving, and attention to detail skills. Successful candidates will be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining high standards when handling sensitive data. Compensation is $17-$19 per hour, and a three-week training program is provided.

Responsibilities

  • Manage inbound and outbound calls, voicemails, and email correspondence, ensuring clear and efficient communication with HR/Payroll contacts and internal teams to complete verification requests promptly
  • Prioritize and manage a high volume of inbound verification requests, proactively following up on outstanding requests to ensure timely resolution and maintain workflow efficiency
  • Use creative research and discovery methods to locate new HR/Payroll contacts when existing ones are unavailable, ensuring verification requests are processed without delays
  • Identify potential fraudulent activity during verification processes and escalate suspicious cases for further investigation and resolution
  • Escalate unclear or ambiguous information to leadership and apply creative problem-solving to resolve verification challenges
  • Navigate and adjust workflows across multiple systems to handle tasks efficiently, ensuring smooth and high-performance operations
  • Identify process bottlenecks and contribute to improvements that drive operational efficiency

Preferred Qualifications

  • Have experience working for a startup or similar environment
  • Have bi-lingual language experience (English and Spanish)

Benefits

  • Pay: $17-$19 per hour based on experience and successful completion of the 90-day probationary period
  • Training: Training runs for three weeks from 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM PST, including a 30-minute lunch break, and full availability is required during this time
