Summary

Join B-Stock's People Ops team as a People Operations Specialist and play a key role in supporting various aspects of the employee lifecycle. You will contribute to full-cycle recruitment, benefits administration, employee relations, and the creation and management of people operations programs. Collaborate with employees and leaders to deliver HR operational support and foster a positive work environment. This role involves data-driven decision-making to enhance the employee journey and guide team success. You will report to the HR Operations Manager and have the opportunity to shape and implement systems and processes that ensure a positive employee experience. The position requires a passion for employee experience and data-driven decision-making.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in HR/People Operations, with at least 1 year of recruitment experience
  • Experience as a Benefits Administrator or similar, working specifically with benefit laws and regulations including HIPAA, ACA, FMLA, and COBRA, with demonstrated knowledge of benefits terminology and administrative processes
  • Strong understanding of HR policies, employee relations, and applicable labor laws
  • Proficiency with HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) and other HR tools (e.g., Greenhouse, ADP, Lattice, Gem, Pingboard, etc.)
  • Advanced Excel skills, with the ability to analyze and present HR data effectively
  • Passion for delivering world-class customer service with a welcoming attitude and focused attentiveness to customer needs while managing within defined SLAs
  • Comfort with interpreting data to tell a story and translating it into actionable strategy
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills; able to carry out instructions with limited supervision
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)

Responsibilities

  • Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, candidate sourcing, interview coordination, and offer negotiations
  • Ensure a seamless candidate experience from initial contact to onboarding
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future openings
  • Track and report on key recruitment metrics (time-to-fill, offer acceptance rate, etc.) to continuously improve the hiring process
  • Oversee the day-to-day administration of employee benefits programs (health, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k), etc.)
  • Act as the point of contact for employees on benefits-related questions and provide guidance on plan options and enrollment processes
  • Support benefits enrollment periods and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations (e.g., ACA, FMLA)
  • Work with benefits vendors to ensure accurate billing and resolve any employee issues related to benefits administration
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and managers on HR-related issues, including conflict resolution, performance management, and workplace concerns
  • Proactively engage with employees to foster a positive work environment and address issues before they escalate
  • Maintain confidentiality and discretion while handling sensitive employee matters
  • Ensure compliance with all HR-related policies, procedures, and legal requirements
  • Design, implement, and manage key people operations programs such as employee engagement surveys, performance management systems, and employee recognition programs
  • Monitor the effectiveness of people operations programs and adjust strategies as necessary to achieve company goals
  • Develop and execute onboarding and offboarding processes that ensure a positive employee experience
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements in HR workflows, systems, and tools
  • Supports on ad hoc team and Company projects, as needed
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret HR data to support decision-making across recruitment, engagement, retention, and performance
  • Track key HR metrics, such as turnover rates, time-to-hire, employee satisfaction, and diversity & inclusion progress, etc
  • Leverage HR software tools and systems to streamline HR processes and enhance data-driven decision-making
  • Automate workflows in HR processes to minimize inefficiencies and scale operations, ensuring seamless growth as the organization expands

Preferred Qualifications

PHR, SHRM-CP, or other relevant HR certifications
