Summary

Join Togetherwork as the Vice President of Product Management for Association Solutions and lead the strategic direction and execution of our product portfolio. This role requires a strategic thinker who can translate product vision into execution and actively participate in developing solutions for associations' evolving needs. You will define and communicate the product vision, develop data-driven roadmaps, implement product management methodologies, and position products competitively. Collaboration with engineering teams to build scalable products on platforms like Salesforce and Microsoft Dynamics is crucial. The ideal candidate will drive initiatives to enhance product features, boosting customer engagement and revenue. This is a hands-on leadership role, requiring direct involvement in product development.

Requirements

  • Have at least 15 years in product management, with a minimum of 2 years in a VP or executive-level role within the SaaS or enterprise software industry
  • Possess extensive knowledge of association management software and a deep understanding of the unique needs of associations, trade organizations, and professional societies
  • Have proven experience in establishing and scaling product management methodologies and processes from the ground up
  • Have a strong understanding of Salesforce and Microsoft Dynamics platforms, with the ability to guide technical teams in developing integrated solutions
  • Have the ability to develop and execute strategies that position our products competitively in the market, particularly against major players like Salesforce
  • Be a visionary yet hands-on leader who is willing to engage directly in product development and problem-solving, without relying solely on delegating tasks to a team

Responsibilities

  • Define and communicate a compelling product vision that aligns with our mission to provide integrated software solutions for associations
  • Develop comprehensive, data-driven product roadmaps that address current challenges, such as outdated, highly customized products, and lead efforts to consolidate and modernize our offerings
  • Establish and implement robust product management methodologies and frameworks, creating a structured approach where none currently exist
  • Strategically position our products to effectively compete with major industry players, including Salesforce, by leveraging our unique value propositions
  • Work closely with engineering teams to ensure our products are built on scalable, flexible platforms like Salesforce and Microsoft Dynamics, facilitating seamless integration and customization
  • Lead initiatives to enhance product features that drive customer engagement, satisfaction, and revenue growth
  • Engage directly in product development processes, from ideation to launch, demonstrating a willingness to roll up your sleeves and lead by example
