Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Plan, promote, execute, and analyze a range of marketing and sales events
  • Effectively communicate across internal teams and external partners to manage Valence speaking engagements
  • Monitor event performance, compile data, and generate reports to measure success and propose improvements
  • Coordinate the creation and maintenance of marketing assets, ensuring that they align with brand guidelines and are easily accessible for all Valence team members
  • Update and manage website content to ensure it's current, accurate, and engaging
  • Oversee all Valence marketing email addresses, ensuring timely and professional communication

The Role

You’ll be a key player on our growth team, primarily focusing on event coordination while supporting broader marketing initiatives such as content and brand. This role offers a unique opportunity for a detail-oriented, creative, and organized individual to make a significant impact in a high-growth B2B SaaS environment. You’ll be at the forefront of planning, promoting, executing, and analyzing a variety of events, from large conferences to intimate roundtables, all while collaborating with senior leadership and Fortune 500 clients.

What You’ll Do

  • Event Management: Plan, promote, execute, and analyze a range of marketing and sales events, including conferences, monthly virtual webinars, smaller roundtables, and client community sessions.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Effectively communicate across internal teams and external partners to manage Valence speaking engagements.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Monitor event performance, compile data, and generate reports to measure success and propose improvements.
  • Marketing Asset Management: Coordinate the creation and maintenance of marketing assets, ensuring that they align with brand guidelines and are easily accessible for all Valence team members.
  • Website Management: Update and manage website content to ensure it’s current, accurate, and engaging.
  • Inbox Management: Oversee all Valence marketing email addresses, ensuring timely and professional communication.

What We’re Looking For

  • 2+ years of professional experience in a fast-paced marketing, strategy, or consulting role
  • Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to remain calm under pressure
  • Outstanding professionalism in written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic design sense and understanding of brand consistency
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously and switch contexts efficiently
  • Proficiency in data analysis using Excel/Google Sheets
  • Creative mindset with a passion for marketing and branding
  • Ideally experience with event planning or coordination and content creation for various marketing channels
  • Familiarity with marketing automation tools (HubSpot or Apollo), CRM systems (Salesforce), and design platforms (Figma)
  • Growth mindset and willingness to continuously learn through feedback.
  • Clear motivations for wanting to join an Series A startup focused on generative AI, LLMs and ML.

Location and Work Environment

If candidates are based in NYC will work 3 days a week in our office in New York, otherwise this role can be remote. Candidates must be comfortable working with colleagues in different time zones (UK), and have valid travel documents without work authorization restrictions in the US.
