Remote Senior Proposal Manager

Requirements

• Educational Requirements: Bachelor's degree (Desired)
• Certification Requirements: Shipley Associates Proposal Training/Certs (Desired)
• Experience Requirements: 10+ years experience with proposal writing/management for Federal Government and DoD customers
• 10+ years experience implementing standard proposal processes or procedures
• 5+ years experience with Telecommunications, Information Technologies staffing and solutions (helpdesk, operations and maintenance, etc), and Construction proposals
• Ability to create original content using interview and research techniques
• Ability to manage geographically separated teams
• Ability to work well both in a team and independently

Responsibilities

• Managing full cycle federal proposal process from compliance matrix development to final review team revisions and submission
• Developing new content to fit the Request For Proposal (RFP) requirements
• Researching relevant corporate, project, client, and industry statistics and data in support of creating proposal responses for all lines of business, segments, and international entities
• Writing a variety of technical content from Subject Matter Expert (SME) interviews, research, and personal knowledge to produce winning solutions
• Collaborating with capture and business development teams on individual proposal development efforts to lead the writing team
• Reviewing and editing proposal responses for consistency, compliance, and win theme incorporation
• Working closely with senior leadership, capture personnel, and operations management to lead, manage, write, edit, review, and produce winning proposals
• Leading and managing the overall proposal development process from the Pre-Proposal Phase through the Post-Proposal phase
