Requirements

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field; an MBA is a plus
  • 5+ years in sales compensation, sales operations, or financial planning, preferably within the software or SaaS industry. Prior experience in a management or leadership role is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of compensation strategies, incentive plans, and sales forecasting
  • Proficiency in CRM (e.g., Salesforce), BI tools, and compensation management software
  • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and manage sales compensation strategies that align with Axoniusโ€™ objectives, motivating sales performance and attracting top talent
  • Work with sales leadership to forecast, model, and plan for revenue and sales targets, ensuring compensation structures support sales goals
  • Design and administer incentive plans that are fair, competitive, and drive desired sales behaviors, including quota setting, commission calculations, and payouts
  • Leverage data to analyze sales performance and compensation effectiveness, providing insights that drive sales performance and refine compensation models
  • Collaborate with finance to manage the budgeting and forecasting of sales compensation, ensuring programs stay within financial targets
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and policies; maintain accurate and accessible documentation of compensation plans and policies
  • Partner with People (HR), finance, and sales operations to align on compensation strategies, forecasting, and sales planning
  • Assess and refine compensation processes to improve efficiency, transparency, and accuracy in compensation administration
