Join Avetta as a Sales Development Representative and contribute to connecting leading organizations with qualified suppliers. You will focus on identifying potential clients and setting qualified appointments for the field sales team, achieving a quota of 10 qualified meetings monthly. Responsibilities include producing sales-ready leads, assisting sales counterparts in pipeline growth, developing prospecting strategies, ensuring timely lead follow-up, maintaining accurate information in Salesforce.com, increasing brand awareness, and prospecting both cold and warm leads. You will maintain strong internal and external relationships and attend trade shows. This role requires 1-2 years of experience in sales development, inside sales, or a similar role, along with Salesforce.com proficiency and a strong understanding of sales methodologies. A 4-year degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
Requirements
- 1-2 years in a Sales development, Inside Sales or BDR Role
- Salesforce.com or other CRM proficiency
- Strong understanding of Sales methodologies
- Ability to establish strong relationships
- Ability to complete a minimum 8-hour in office workday
- Minimum of 10 Qualified meetings per month, as defined by the FSM
- Minimum of 50 quality outbound calls per day
- Opportunity pipeline progression
- Number of collected and qualified leads when traveling to events
Responsibilities
- Produce sales-ready leads and appointments to the Field Sales team
- Achieve the team quota of 10 qualified meetings per month
- Assist sales (FSMβs) counterparts in increasing their pipeline with new business opportunities
- Partner with FSM counterparts to develop prospecting and lead nurturing strategies
- Ensure timely follow up of all leads
- Through the adoption of Salesforce.com, capture and maintain accurate and up to date information related to campaigns, leads, contacts, activities, and status dispositions
- Increase brand awareness through outbound communication strategies
- Prospect both cold and warm leads
- Provide the highest level of professionalism and prospect satisfaction
- Attend trade shows and marketing events as assigned by SDR Management
- Maintain outstanding internal and external business relationships
- Other duties as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- 4 Year degree or commensurate experience
- Familiarity with Salesforce, HubSpot, Sugar or other CRM
- Strong interpersonal communication skills including both written and verbal
- Understanding of consultative, solution sales or similar models
