Summary
Join Material Bank as a Sales Development Representative to engage with architects and designers, schedule meetings, identify opportunities, conduct initial relationship-building calls, and contribute to scaling the sales organization. This is a fully remote position with a preference for candidates on the East Coast or Mid-West due to proximity to target accounts.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum of 2+ years in a similar role, demonstrating the ability to build the role from the ground up
- Relationship Building: Strong interpersonal skills with a natural ability to establish relationships
- Mindset: Growth-oriented with a tenacious approach to prospecting new opportunities
- Storytelling Skills: Exceptional ability to pitch Material Bank to architects and designers
- Business Acumen: Strong product intuition and understanding of how Material Bank provides different values to various customers
- Influence: Ability to influence coworkers and customers effectively
- Energy and Adaptability: Thrive in a fast-paced, disruptive environment with high energy and adaptability
Responsibilities
- New Member Acquisition: Engage with architects and designers across small, medium, and large-sized firms to generate new members
- Meeting Scheduling: Schedule meetings for Market Directors to conduct training sessions
- Opportunity Discovery: Identify and drive new opportunities to expand our partnerships with members
- High-Level Discovery Calls: Conduct initial relationship-building calls to understand potential members' needs
- Sales and Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of Material Bankβs value proposition to effectively communicate with prospects
- Operational Innovation: Contribute to scaling the sales organization through innovative operational practices
