Summary
Join ScholarshipOwl, the worldβs largest scholarship platform, as a Sales Development Representative (SDR) and contribute to our team's success. You will identify and qualify leads, perform outbound prospecting, schedule meetings, and maintain CRM records. This role requires 3+ years of B2B sales experience, a proven track record of exceeding quotas, and excellent communication skills. Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in an SDR or B2B sales role
- Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas and generating leads
- Excellent communication in English along with strong interpersonal and persuasive skills
- Ability to quickly build rapport with potential customers
- Comprehensive understanding of the sales funnel and lead generation process
- Proficiency with CRM systems and lead generation tools (e.g., Salesmate, Apollo, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn)
- Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven, with the ability to solve problems, manage time effectively, and work independently
- Experience conducting video calls in a professional setting
Responsibilities
- Identify, research, and mine potential leads using various channels (databases, LinkedIn, online tools, etc.)
- Perform outbound prospecting through cold outreach, including emails, calls, and social media interactions
- Qualify prospects by understanding their needs and aligning them with the value we offer
- Schedule meetings with qualified leads and hand them off to the sales team for further engagement
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in our CRM system
- Track and report key metrics such as call connections, lead conversion rates, and meetings booked
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to optimize lead generation strategies
