Join Movella, a leading provider of sensor technology, as their Sales Manager! Lead and manage a high-performing international B2B sales team focused on Body Sensor Network (BSN) solutions. Drive revenue growth, expand the customer base, and maintain market leadership. This role involves managing key accounts, overseeing a team of approximately 8 sales representatives, and frequent travel between the US and Europe. You will develop and implement sales strategies, collaborate with the Commercial Director, and ensure seamless communication across teams. Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 7 years of B2B sales experience, with at least 3 years in a sales management role
- Proven success in managing international sales teams and achieving revenue targets
- Strong background in complex system sales, preferably within the technology or motion capture industries
- Exceptional leadership and coaching abilities, with a track record of developing high-performing teams
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
- Ability to navigate and close intricate sales cycles with enterprise customers
- Proficient in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and sales analytics
Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and coach a high-performing B2B sales team
- Set clear goals, monitor performance metrics, and provide regular feedback to team members
- Foster a collaborative and results-oriented team culture across geographically dispersed regions
- Identify and address skill gaps through targeted training and development initiatives
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets
- Collaborate with the Commercial Director to align sales objectives with overall business goals
- Utilize data-driven insights to refine sales processes and strategies for optimal performance
- Directly manage key accounts (quota carrying) to build strong, long-term customer relationships
- Negotiate and close complex system sales with enterprise-level customers
- Ensure seamless communication and alignment between key accounts and internal teams
- Coordinate efforts between US and European sales teams to ensure consistency in approach and customer experience
- Maintain regular communication with team members across both regions, addressing challenges and opportunities unique to each market
- Travel frequently between the US and Europe to engage with team members, key accounts, and industry events
- Represent Movella/Xsens at conferences, trade shows, and customer meetings
- Oversee the sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting and reporting
- Drive pipeline growth through effective lead generation and qualification
- Support the team in navigating complex sales cycles and removing roadblocks
- Stay updated on industry trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics
- Provide feedback to product and marketing teams to influence future product development and go-to-market strategies
