In this remote role, you will be a business partner to sales, marketing, and sales operations leadership, providing actionable insights to drive business decisions. You will build and maintain sales dashboards, produce compelling reports, manage financial forecasts, and analyze sales data to inform strategic planning. This position requires strong analytical skills, experience with business intelligence tools (PowerBI preferred), and proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets. Requirements
- 2+ years of sales analysis experience
- Strong research and data analysis skills
- Previous general accounting or financial reporting experience
- In-depth Excel and/or Google Sheets knowledge
- Be able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Must be self-motivated, detail-oriented, organized, able to interact with cross-functional teams
- Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills; customer service mindset
- Commitment to excellence and high standards
- Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain sales-focused dashboards via PowerBI
- Produce visually compelling reporting within specified cadences, as needed by business leaders
- Manage financial forecasts and sales projections based on available business data
- Analyze data to evaluate monthly and annual sales and forecast goals
- Produce presentations that analyze sales and marketing activities and achievements
- Analyze sales-related data trends and reporting key findings to leadership
- Monitor and analyze competitive activity, customer, and market trends
- Collaborate with managers and staff to implement financial plans
- Address requests for ad hoc data reporting needs
- Identify, document, and implement opportunities for continuous improvement
- All other duties as assigned by manager
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency with ERP a plus - NetSuite preferred
- Strong experience with business intelligence tools - PowerBI preferred
