Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field
  • 4+ years of experience in digital ad operations, including at least 2 years in a leadership or management role
  • Proficiency with ad serving platforms (e.g., Google Ad Manager, Campaign Manager) and programmatic tools (e.g., DV360, The Trade Desk)
  • Strong understanding of digital ad metrics, targeting, and optimization techniques
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills, with a detail-oriented mindset
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage with cross-functional teams and clients

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Ad Ops Specialists, ensuring they deliver high-quality support for campaign execution
  • Oversee workload distribution and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines effectively
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide coaching, and support career development initiatives
  • Oversee the setup, trafficking, and management of digital ad campaigns across multiple platforms (e.g., Google Ad Manager, DV360, or other DSPs)
  • Ensure campaigns are launched on time and meet performance KPIs, troubleshooting and resolving delivery or technical issues as needed
  • Monitor ongoing campaign performance, providing actionable insights and recommendations for optimization
  • Serve as the primary liaison for the sales team escalation matters, ensuring clear communication and alignment on campaign objectives, timelines, and deliverables
  • Collaborate with internal teams (creative, analytics, product) to address client needs and resolve any challenges that may arise during campaigns
  • Develop performance metrics and campaign summaries to stakeholders and clients as needed
  • Develop and implement processes to improve campaign management efficiency and reduce errors
  • Maintain detailed documentation of workflows, campaign setups, and troubleshooting guides
  • Stay updated on industry trends, ad technology advancements, and platform changes to enhance team capabilities
  • Ensure accurate tracking and reporting of campaign performance metrics
  • Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for optimization
  • Provide post-campaign analysis, including insights on successes and areas for improvement

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with reporting and analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, or Excel)
  • Familiarity with industry standards such as VAST, VPAID, and viewability metrics
  • Knowledge of creative asset formats and specifications (e.g., HTML5, rich media)
