Summary
Join Evergreen Nephrology as the VP of East Market Operations and lead operational performance and partner-level P&Ls across multiple markets and states. You will be the primary contact for executive leadership, working to align operations with Evergreen's vision. Leverage your Value Based Care (VBC) expertise to engage stakeholders and drive strategic execution. Build and manage high-performing teams, utilize performance analytics, and collaborate with clinicians to achieve better population health outcomes. Develop strategies to expand partnerships and execute value-based care contracting. Partner with internal teams to optimize performance and launch new products. Cultivate a culture of high performance and collaboration, and lead practice transformation through strategic co-creation. Prepare and present concise and effective materials for various meetings. This role reports to the SVP of Market Operations and is crucial for market expansion, new implementations, and financial performance.
Requirements
- Have a Masterโs degree in business, healthcare administration, or have the equivalent relevant experience
- Have 10+ years experience in multi-site healthcare services/direct patient-care businesses, with at least 5 years in leadership and management positions
- Have experience working with providers in Value Based Care
- Understand Business Continuity and how to build resiliency into business processes / systems
- Develop talent, know when to delegate, innovate, and iterate with your team by leveraging their strengths
- Be an expert at building trust and respect quickly (internally and externally) that results in meaningful relationships, clear communication, and leadership in change management
Responsibilities
- Be accountable for operational performance and partner-level P&Ls for several markets and states
- Be the principal point of contact for executive leadership at Evergreen and JV practices, working to re-orient to Evergreenโs vision daily through attendance at partner, practice-level meetings, as well as engagement with market front line staff
- Utilize your knowledge of Value Based Care (VBC) to translate our operational and clinical model in a way that engages and drives internal and external stakeholders in strategic execution and partnership
- Build and manage high-performing regional operations teams to drive success in value-based care
- Leverage performance reporting and analytics, clinical quality improvement initiatives, and a collaborative approach with clinicians and staff to achieve better population health outcomes that align with payer contracts and requirements
- Develop strategies to expand key partnerships with providers, post-acute facilities, and hospitals and assist with executing value-based care contracting activities that improve patient outcomes and reduce total cost of care
- In partnership with the Clinical Operations team, track performance and identify opportunities for improvement. Work with Evergreenโs central teams to ensure optimized performance of our core business (Engagement & Growth, Reduced TME, Documentation, and Quality) for the market/JV
- In partnership with the Business Operations team, own the launch of new product launches within the market. The work involves understanding local market dynamics to orchestrate successful product launches
- Develop trust and lead by influence to drive continuous practice transformation through strategic co-creation with partners, IDT optimization, effective communication, and management of P&L
- Be a culture champion โ cultivating a culture of high performance, transparency, trust, and collaboration
- Be accountable to develop, set agendas, and own preparation of concise and effective presentation materials and resources required to support and lead board meetings, partner JOCs, and KCE Governing Body Meetings
