Summary
Join CivicScience as Vice President, Sales Operations and support multiple business functions within the CivicScience Intelligence group. You will ensure efficient resource use, effective stakeholder involvement, and achievement of business outcomes. Working closely with senior leadership, you'll oversee CRM management, revenue tracking and reporting, revenue forecasting, and sales process optimization. Responsibilities also include lead generation, process improvement, cross-functional alignment, contract execution support, and administrative tasks. You will generate reports, handle day-to-day operations, support decision-making, assist with sales training, manage compliance, and coordinate pricing strategies. This role requires strong leadership and collaboration skills.
Requirements
- 10+ years of client-facing, project management, and administrative leadership experience within operations, marketing, business development, finance, legal, and/or sales disciplines
- Experience with AI tools
- Expertise in Excel and other Microsoft tools
- Experience building internal and external presentations
- Highly detail-oriented
- Willingness/aptitude to learn new tools
- Great communicator
- Successful track record of collaborating and building relationships with diverse stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, detail-orientation, and a high level of personal motivation to succeed
Responsibilities
- Own CRM: Oversee and manage the CRM system, ensuring it aligns with business goals and optimizes sales and customer relationship management
- Revenue Tracking/Reporting: Track and report on revenue performance, providing regular updates and insights to CCO, Board and colleagues
- Forecasting: Lead revenue forecasting efforts, providing accurate predictions to inform business planning
- Sales and Account Management Process Optimization: Enhance and streamline sales and account management processes for increased productivity and efficiency
- Lead-Gen Implementation: Assist in developing and executing lead generation strategies to support business growth
- Process Optimization/Strategy Execution: Identify opportunities for process improvements and execute strategies to optimize operations
- Manage Cross-Functional Alignment & Communication: Ensure smooth communication and alignment between cross-functional teams including but not limited to Intelligence and Advertising personnel
- Work with Legal & Finance to Facilitate Contract Execution & Financial Tracking: Collaborate with Legal and Finance teams to support contract execution and financial tracking including board reporting
- Admin Functions: Oversee administrative tasks related to day-to-day operations and business functions
- Reporting: Generate and distribute reports on key performance metrics and operational activities
- Day-to-Day Operations: Handle the day-to-day operations of the business, ensuring smooth and efficient processes
- Operational Policies & Decisions: Support decision-making and the creation of operational policies to align with business objectives
- Sales Training Assistance: Assist in the development and delivery of sales training programs to enhance team performance
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with relevant laws and manage business risks effectively working with designated stakeholders
- Coordination of Pricing Components: Coordinate the pricing strategy and ensure consistency across pricing components
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with HubSpot CRM
- Bachelor's degree in a business-based discipline
- PMP or other project management certification
- Aptitude for marketing, consumer research, and data analysis
