Requirements
- 15+ years of progressive marketing experience with at least 7 years in executive roles
- Proven track record in managing and getting high productivity from multi-functional marketing teams
- Deep expertise in unique brand creation/articulation, digital, growth, product, and customer marketing
- Strong understanding of market trends, data analytics, and customer insights that can deliver clear ROI tracking for marketing investments and quickly pivot as needed
- Track record of embracing and successfully leveraging innovation technologies (especially AI) to improve effectiveness and efficiency in marketing efforts
- Creative, innovative thinking to break-through the noise of a hectic marketplace
- Budget ownership experience
Responsibilities
- Design and lead long-term enterprise marketing strategies that support the company's mission and revenue goals
- Direct all facets of the B2B marketing function including demand generation, product marketing, client communications, Sales Development Representatives, and brand positioning
- Collaborate with executive leadership on corporate strategy and positioning. Collaborate cross functionally with Sales, Customer Success, Strategy, Growth Marketing and others to deliver a coordinated, high impact market message
- Own market segmentation, customer lifecycle strategy, and go-to-market planning
- Lead the development of innovative marketing programs that elevate the brand and create significant increase in incoming, qualified leads
- Lead and scale a diverse, growing, high-impact global marketing organization
- Create and collaborate on a clear vision for 2026+ market differentiation positioning
- Deliver a 2026 strategy plan to drive improved lead generation and win rates
- Solidify a team of high performers to expand Virtaβs market presence
- Create mar-tech stack plan for 2026 and beyond that includes AI-supported scale and efficiency
- Support details and planning for a significant market and lead generation event - Moonshots - that we hold in January each year

- Experience in health technology or an innovative market space appreciated
- Experience in both public and private companies is preferred
