Summary

The Sales team at Plaid is focused on bringing Plaid to a broader range of businesses by generating new enterprise deals and building strong relationships with large companies in North America. In this role, you will be responsible for building a sales pipeline, focusing on a particular vertical or category of accounts within the Enterprise business, and establishing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Sales experience to the tune of 7+ years of quota-carrying experience in a new-revenue role and a strong track record of closing enterprise-level deals (three plus years focused on enterprise customers)
  • Strong prospecting, qualifying, and negotiating skills; consultative sales approach with a product-centric mindset
  • Experience working with sales development and deploying a territory or vertical-focused revenue strategy
  • Experience selling API’s & focus around consumption of APIs
  • Desire to be overly technical about Plaid’s product & use-cases

Responsibilities

  • Build a sales pipeline - From identifying opportunities for prospects to benefit from deploying Plaid, efficiently accessing the right customer contacts to start conversations, to closing annual or multi-year contracts
  • Focus on building a refined and repeatable sales motion in a particular vertical or category of accounts within the Enterprise business
  • Go deep and wide in prospect accounts to build support for adopting Plaid
  • Deeply understand Plaid’s business value and technology advantage
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders within prospect and customer accounts
