Summary

Join Respect, a rapidly growing not-for-profit aged care provider, as their People and Culture Business Partner! Reporting to the People & Culture Operations Manager, you will provide advice and support across the employee lifecycle. This remote role involves travel to various locations and requires strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. You will partner with leadership and employees, managing performance, employee relations, and change management. Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a generalist People and Culture role
  • Knowledge of and experience with contemporary People and Culture related matters including performance management, employee relations, change management, workplace health and safety and injury management
  • Proven ability to manage change in a complex and often challenging industrial work environment
  • Highly developed communication and report writing skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills, with an ability to interpret complex situations and find innovative solutions
  • Demonstrated organisational skills, with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure and within tight timeframes
  • Reside in Australia

Responsibilities

  • Provide advice, support and guidance in all aspects of the people lifecycle on a broad range of HR matters
  • Engage with all levels within the organisation, promoting our values and ways of working
  • Help managers with coaching and feedback so our employees are empowered to achieve their full potential
  • Identify best practices and incorporate them into our standards to continuously improve our employee experience
  • Provide a high-level business partnering service to the leadership team and employees within their allocated portfolio on a broad range of People and Culture related matters
  • Manage performance and employee relations
  • Manage change management including union and employee consultation
  • Handle workforce planning
  • Manage training and development
  • Manage employee experience initiatives
  • Manage workplace health and safety and injury management
