Summary
Join our team as a Demand Generation Marketer at Octopus, responsible for raising awareness of the Octopus brand and creating demand that will lead to the acquisition and expansion of new and existing commercial and enterprise customers. You'll own the programs and campaigns that form the distribution engine around our DevOps and Continuous Delivery themes.
Requirements
- 5-8 years experience working in a performance marketing, demand generation, or lead generation role
- Manage and execute campaigns end-to-end with minimal direction from others
- Good understanding of Continuous Delivery, the software delivery process, DevOps, and deployment automation
- Knowledgeable or ready to learn about Octopus Deploy and where it fits in enterprise organizations
- Customer-obsessed and motivated to tell our story and the value of Continuous Delivery
- Good project management skills, well-organized, and an effective communicator
- Worked with CRMs, marketing automation platforms, and marketing analytics tools
- Good track record of working with Sales teams and data-driven and numerically inclined
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute our demand generation strategy and campaigns
- Work closely with our partner agencies (SEO, paid search, and paid social) to plan and execute campaigns to support our demand-generation activities
- Raise brand awareness of the Octopus brand in our target market's digital landscape
- Develop high-impact B2B demand generation programs to meet pipeline and revenue goals
- Ensure the demand generation engine feeds lead generation to meet targets such as new business inquiries, marketing qualified leads (MQLs), sales qualified leads (SQLs), conversion rates, and cost per acquisition
- Work with cross-functional teams including product marketing, partner marketing, and content marketing to identify and leverage buyer journey assets, messaging, and content in demand gen campaigns
- Align with Sales Development teams for top-of-funnel inbound and outbound programs
- Plan and maintain a campaign calendar aligned with other marketing stakeholders and teams
