Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in business development, or similar role
- Proven experience managing the full sales cycle from lead generation through to deal close, working closely with internal teams and executive leadership to drive operational efficiency
- Technical proficiency in presenting SaaS products and an understanding of analytics or EdTech platforms
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across social, digital, and in-person channels
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with the ability to operate autonomously
Responsibilities
- Identify, research, and engage prospective clients through targeted outreach, social channels, and event networking
- Represent Doowii at conferences, trade shows, and industry events, building meaningful connections to expand brand presence
- Develop and implement content-driven lead generation strategies, including social media and partnership-based campaigns
- Use conferences as a platform to generate leads, establish Doowii’s thought leadership in education and analytics, and cement a presence with educators and partners
- Create and distribute high-impact content, including blog posts, social media updates, and thought leadership pieces, to drive engagement and awareness
- Partner with Doowii executives to manage external communications, including press releases and media outreach
- Support the design and execution of targeted ad campaigns to drive lead generation and brand awareness, and manage budgets and ROI targets
- Track & improve organic traffic and search rankings
- Conduct product demos and presentations, addressing client needs and positioning Doowii’s platform as a critical solution for a data-driven education culture, saving time and improving results
- Maintain a technical understanding of Doowii’s conversational analytics capabilities and platform to answer product questions and build credibility with prospects
- Manage the sales pipeline from initial lead generation through deal negotiation and closing, working closely with the CX team for smooth post-sale transitions
- Document all interactions and progress within the CRM to ensure accurate reporting and effective pipeline forecasting
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitors, and target market dynamics to effectively communicate Doowii’s unique value
- Provide feedback on customer needs and preferences to internal teams, informing product development
- Track and report on key performance indicators, including leads generated, conversion rates, and revenue impact
- Use data insights to refine strategies, improve conversion rates, and increase Doowii’s market penetration
Preferred Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in business development in SaaS or EdTech growth
- Experience representing a company at industry conferences and events
- Demonstrated success using social and content strategies for lead generation

- Base salary and a new-hire equity grant vesting over 4 years with a 1-year cliff
- Base Salary: $90k-$120k
